Of course :)

The new fridge was not mandatory, although we kinda needed it.

The company that did the renovation bought all new appliances and they are all really nice...except the refrigerator. They gave us a TINY fridge (only 18 CF) and if you put a gallon of milk in it and an apple, it's packed full.

We got a good deal on a huge one over at Lowes. It's 26 CF and it has an ice maker and water dispenser in the door. it was $1000, but it's marked down to $899 and we had a coupon for 10% off that. Plus we opened a Lowes credit account so we get 6 months no interest to pay it off. We are gonna sell the old one and if we get between $300 and $400 for it, we'll be happy and it goes towards the cost of the new one, so we will have a nice new fridge for somewhere around $500 :)

Teh One Who Knocks

I measured exactly on this one...I came home and had to push the fridge in myself because the delivery guys didn't wanna do it because of the tight fit. If the fridge was a quarter inch wider, it wouldn't have fit

It went in without scratching though, there's about an 1/8" on either side of it.

Muddy
10-24-2012, 12:55 PM

Teh One Who Knocks

Isn't that for 10 year olds?

It's kinda hard to explain to non-gamers what we get out of games like that...I could tell you that the average age of gamers is now 34 and that the graphics and situations have matured to the point of having you fight on a black ops team using 'real' weaponry, sounds and encounters.

The Call of Duty franchise offers some very adult venues...in one you're undercover as a terrorist and you walk slowly through an airport watching the real terrorists kill innocent civilians while they beg for their lives. Another has an opening shot of you recording your wife and daughter on a camcorder on a London street...then a van with a bomb rolls up and kills everyone in the frame.

To put a cap on it....I like these types of situations. Below, you're on helicopters flying into a hot zone and the game gives you no time to think. You're there, dudes are shooting at you and it's kill or be killed. They play on your emotions and your reflexes simultaneously. They somehow make you want to kill the bad guy no matter what age you are

The opening of this game features Wall Street getting the crap bombed out of it and the entire New York harbor getting attacked. Graphic wise (when shit is moving) it gets pretty realistic.

No, the only thing I got for free was the flyer advertising more tools. Plus none of the clip tools worked for the specific job I bought them for. I was trying to take a lower door cladding off of a Chevy Equinox without destroying the molding, scratching the paint or breaking the clips. I ended up cutting the clips with a putty knife, sacrificed them to save the molding and paint.
