My Dad had an old metal garbage can, the kind with the little pedal that lifted the lid. It was broken and us kids had a hell of a time finding a replacement that wasn't too big or too small. I found this baby for 99 bucks, probably 69 bucks down there and man was it ever a good purchase.

No batteries or hand waving over sensors to open, just press down on the button thingy and it works. It's four years old and still looks new.

What I like is both hands can be full and you only need to hit the thingy with your thigh and it opens instantly. Lifetime warranty too :thumbsup:

I've no interest in relicing any of my other guitars. This was bought as a fender "road worn" series. I wanted it because of the color, the finish (nitro) and the neck profile (deep C, almost a 50s style neck). The Keefe joint relic was on a lark. Tbh, I dont care if this one gets more beat up. It will anyway. I'm not gonna do any intentionally, but imho, its a MIM tele. It's never gonna be worth anything to anyone but me. My Les Paul on the other hand, already has a couple scratches in it, and it bugged me at first. It's also nito finished, so its gonna age and wear, but I'm okay with that. The purple tele that I was building was to imitate a specific guitar. The MIM is close enough. At any rate, I fully understand DGX opinion, and can sorta agree, but these are mine, lol

I was stuck behind some like that on I30 for about 20 miles. I knew that stretch of highway pretty well, stayed in the right hand lane and finally saw the exit sign I had been waiting for.
I knew the on ramp on the other side of the overpass was much longer than most and also was paved between the ramp and freeway. I dropped a few gears and floored it hitting the ramp and leaving the 2 semis and miles of traffic behind me.

I wish I could get an aerial view of the large mall near my house I just visited. The entire thing is set up like this picture :lol:

The intersections are too close and almost every day I see someone turning into lanes of oncoming traffic because the engineer was snorting bath salts designing the access points.
