it was a lot of fun. if you look directly under the "sox" in red sox win, there is a gate that is into a restaurant that we ate at during the day that closes when they have a game. it was cool to look out and see the warmups that were going on ~5 hours before the actual game

You might as well go up to Little Big Horn if you're that close, then swing through Yellowstone on your way back. Don't forget about the Crazy Horse monument while you're around Mt. Rushmore.

i've been to mt rushmore probably 20 times, but i also have never been to devils tower. i take my kids to the black hills almost every summer, so it is on my list for next year since my oldest now wants to also see it.

In these remote areas, processing laboratories are set up to extract the coca from the leaves and then convert the coca into cocaine. There are two types of processing labs: pozo pit labs that use acidic solutions, and the more common lab that uses metal drums and gasoline.

http://www.deamuseum.org/ccp/img/coca/2c2.jpg Step One
Cocaine is typically processed in jungle labs by first soaking leaves in gasoline inside metal drums.

http://www.deamuseum.org/ccp/img/coca/2c3.jpg Step Two
Gasoline containing cocaine alkaloid is drained from metal drums and filtered into a barrel with diluted acid. The gasoline will be removed from the acid layer and sodium bicarbonate or ammonia will be added to the solution to make cocaine base.

http://www.deamuseum.org/ccp/img/coca/2c5.jpg Step Three
Cocaine base is filtered through a cloth.

http://www.deamuseum.org/ccp/img/coca/2c6.jpg Step Four
The remaining substance is dried, resulting in a purer form of cocaine base.

http://www.deamuseum.org/ccp/img/coca/2c7.jpg Step Five
Cocaine base is dissolved in a solvent such as ethyl acetate, acetone, or ether and then heated in a hot water bath called a “bańo maria.” Another solvent such as methyl ethyl ketone is added to the boiling liquid along with concentrated hydrochloric acid which results in the crystallization of cocaine hydrochloride.

http://www.deamuseum.org/ccp/img/coca/2c8.jpg Step Six
Excess solvents are removed from the cocaine hydrochloride, first by hand, and then using a hydraulic press.

http://www.deamuseum.org/ccp/img/coca/2c9.jpg Step Seven
Solvents are finally removed using microwave ovens creating the basis for powder cocaine.

http://www.deamuseum.org/ccp/img/coca/2c10.jpg Step Eight
Cocaine base, commonly called “crack,” is typically made by dissolving cocaine hydrochloride in a mixture of water and baking soda. The solution is boiled until the cocaine forms an oily substance that drops out of the solution and settles at the bottom of the container.

http://www.deamuseum.org/ccp/img/coca/2c11.jpg Step Nine
Excess water, sodium chloride, and other impurities can be removed after cooling the oil to a rock-like substance. The resulting product is crack cocaine."

Then I guess I was out more. I've never been into computer games, never owned a games console of any kind. :wavey:

Wait, the first one, Atari, was a console? We had the very first pong game, I thought's what it was. I played in arcades a little, and did played poker on one of them that for a while as an adult. So I guess I owned another one maybe 15 years ago, but it wasn't for me.

I remember messing with King's Quest on a computer in Radio Shack when I was younger. Friends and I would do it everyday for 2 weeks. Until they figured out we weren't there to buy anything and kicked us out, that is.

I had the Atari 2600 and the NES and that was it. My cousin (who I grew up with, lived down the street from him) had all that crap and we would always gather at his house and play. Then we all switched over to RPGs and we did that until sometime in junior high.

We got a used Intellivision when I was a lad, it was everything to us. I still remember playing the D&D game traveling endless yellow hallways and shooting my bow at spiders and trolls. Spiders were blobs with 7 pixels, trolls were blobs with 8 pixels

I never had any other home gaming systems as the family and me were poor and I never played any games in arcades for the same reason. Then years later in my 30's I rented a Playstation 1 and played the first Tomb Raider game and was hooked. It was the first 3D environment you could move around in and was waaaay better than any side scrolling game out there. Addiction carried over to PC's and I always have at least one game installed.

Generally speaking, one vertical prong's slot's bigger than the other. Same with our plugs, although older devices might be the same size. Some cheaply made plugs on newer devices may be the same size as well. The ground prong may or may not be present on the actual plug, depending on the device.

Back in the late seventies and early eighties, there was a voluntary "think metric" program in the US. Some road signs were changed from miles to kilometers. Even some gas stations switched from gallons to liters. It didn't last long. About the only survivors are liquor and soft drink bottles. The government should have made it a mandatory program, phased in over a 5 or 10 year period.
