Cold, hard statistics? Denver played a piss poor game against a piss poor team in Baltimore. Seriously, Baltimore is one season away from going on full rebuild mode. All of their real weapons have moved on to other teams or have retired. Peyton looked like shit.... so much so that articles all over the place are saying that he's washed up, old, and should have retired after last season. The Broncos are gonna get slaughtered when they face a good team. Oh wait, they're facing the Chiefs this week? :rip: Broncos.

Teh One Who Knocks

It's the crappy new offense from the crappy new head coach and his crappy play calling

DemonGeminiX
09-17-2015, 06:05 PM
Gary Kubiak is an OK coach. He had a few good seasons with the Texans, but I don't see him being anywhere near as good as John Fox.

How do you get a 12 - 4 2014 record, 1st place in your division head coach to agree to part ways? He had 3 straight winning seasons for Christ's sake.

Dumbest move by the Broncos, in my opinion.

Kristin Cavallari and her Bears quarterback husband, Jay Cutler, are naming their daughter after a dog, Cavallari said in a recent interview.*

While it might seem more appropriate for the couple to name their next child after a bear, it appears Cavallari decided years ago that she wanted to name her future daughter after a woman’s dog, she told*Cricket’s Circle, a blog for new and expectant mothers.*

Cavallari said in the interview that she decided on the name when she was pregnant with her son Camden. She met a woman and her dog and “loved her dog’s name.”

The couple is expecting their third child, and their first daughter, in November.

Though Cavallari didn’t say what the name was, she also revealed that Cutler gets her some very chic “push presents.”

Cavallari said Cutler got her a Birkin bag when she gave birth to their first son Camden, and a backpack by The Row after Jaxon was born. It’s not clear what he plans on getting her for the birth of [insert dog’s name], but according to her “Jay is really good with purses.”

DemonGeminiX
09-28-2015, 11:02 AM
I don't know what game you watched yesterday, but the one I watched was won by the D. It's painfully obvious that Manning is past his prime. Now where he's at now still may be better than most of the other quarterbacks in the league, but he's clearly below the level he was at a few years ago, and nowhere near the level he was at back when he was in Indy. He doesn't have much time left in the league and everybody knows it.

Teh One Who Knocks
09-28-2015, 11:05 AM
Yeah, 324 yards with a 73.8% completion percentage and 2 TD's....bench him and get us someone else :x

The Bears 10 possessions went punt, punt, punt, punt, punt, punt, punt, punt, punt, punt.

We're able to go back to 1980 and can tell you that it's the first time a team has punted on every possession in a game within that time.

Very interested to hear what Lance thought of Brock Osweiler. I heard him discussed earlier this year as a top backup prospect. He was 20/27 (74%) for 250 yds, 2 TD, no INT, 127.5 passer rating... pretty impression first start, and certainly better than Manning this year.

He played okay, he wasn't as good as the stats would lead you to believe. I watched the whole game. The first TD was all Thomas, very little to do with Osweiller other than he thru a 6 yard pass to a wide open DT. Was he better than Manning this year? Sure, but that's not saying much, Manning has only had one good game the whole year (the Green Bay game). No offense, but the Bears defense isn't exactly top shelf, so there's no way to gauge his performance. We'll see what happens next week against New England.

Eagles fire coach Chip Kelly with 1 game left in 3rd season

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- The Philadelphia Eagles fired Chip Kelly with one game left in his third season, dumping the coach after missing the playoffs in consecutive years.

Kelly was released Tuesday night just before the end of a disappointing season that began with Super Bowl expectations. The Eagles are 6-9 after going 10-6 in each of Kelly's first two seasons. They were eliminated from playoff contention after losing to Washington at home on Saturday night.

Eagles CEO Jeffrey Lurie issued a one-sentence statement to the media, saying he appreciates Kelly's contributions and wishes him success going forward.

Lurie told fans in an email that he decided to make a change after "evaluating the many factors involved in our performance as a team."

The Eagles also fired Ed Marynowitz, who was vice president of player personnel.

Kelly made several bold moves that backfired after assuming full control of personnel decisions last offseason. Since March 2014, he released three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver DeSean Jackson, traded two-time All-Pro running back LeSean McCoy, didn't re-sign 2014 Pro Bowl wideout Jeremy Maclin, cut two-time Pro Bowl guard Evan Mathis and traded quarterback Nick Foles and a 2016 second-round draft pick for Sam Bradford.

He also gave big money in free agency to running back DeMarco Murray and cornerback Byron Maxwell. Murray has been a bust and Maxwell has underperformed.

Kelly replaced Andy Reid and led the Eagles to an NFC East title in 2013 after they were 4-12 a year earlier. The Eagles lost at home to New Orleans in the playoffs and missed the postseason in 2014 after starting 9-3.

They were 7-12 in Kelly's last 19 games.

Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur will coach the team in the season finale at the New York Giants on Sunday.

Lurie told fans President Don Smolenski and Howie Roseman, the executive vice president of football operations, will assist him in the search for a new coach.

The first 2 seasons he was using Andy Reid's handpicked players. Kelly gutted the team this season to get his guys in under his system and 6 - 9 is the result. They're missing the playoffs this year, and they missed last year as well. In three years, the team went from pretty good, to ok, to completely awful. For the sake of argument, in Andy Reid's first 3 years, he took an awful team in his first year and made them ok in his second year, then made them playoff bound in his third year.

Kelly removed two of our best OLs, two of our best WRs, our best ever RB, and some good DBs.... and replaced them with the shit we have now. Some say the QBs were an even trade... I think Foles was a little better than Bradford. Technically speaking, some of the guys Kelly got rid of are having career years.

His play schemes, while they were ok to start off with, the rest of the league has caught on to the gimmicks. The team has no sense of fundamentals, they have the highest touchdowns allowed in Eagle's history, and a huge TO percentage. The D, which is horrible (a cardinal sin in Philly), is on the field more than the offense is.

Lurie was absolutely right to fire Kelly. It probably could have waited until the regular season was over, but some people are reporting that Kelly and Lurie had it out about changes Lurie wanted to make and Kelly was being obstinate and uncooperative right off the bat. When you fly in the face of the owner, your ass is gone.

Like I said, no pleasing some people [-(

Oh yeah, and where's this coming from? Y'all got rid of John Fox after they lost the Superbowl.

That's because Kubiak and Elway are butt buddies :hand:

Let's see how you feel when your gutted team's 6 - 9 and not likely to make the playoffs again any time in the foreseeable future. Whoever they bring has got a right mess to clean up. It's gonna take a long time.
