An apparently hungry burglar made himself a meal and took a beverage after breaking into a Cedar Falls McDonalds restaurant early Sunday morning.
Surveillance video caught the man breaking a window and entering the restaurant at 610 West 1st St. at 1:55 a.m. The man prepared and ate a meal, leaving the restaurant about a half-hour later with a beverage.
The suspect is a male, possibly in his 20s, with brown hair. Anybody with information concerning the “hamburglary” is encouraged to contact the Cedar Falls Police.
