But, wouldn't you have bought the Coors Light in the first place? When I was a kid my dad always drank Old Milwaukee...because it was cheap, he drank a lot, and gave beers to anyone who showed up to his business. Cops and all (he installed equipment in police cars, among many other things). Before those days, he used to repair radar on the big freighters passing through the great lakes. We'd drive up to whatever port they were at and he'd drink the whole way, whether he was driving or my mom was behind the wheel. The cooler was kept in the back seat with my sister and myself, so we had the duty of fishing them out and passing them up. This was the mid and late 70's, early 80's era. When I was a bit older he would sometimes have me carry equipment up to the bridges of the ships, because it was a pretty good haul, but he never gave me any beer. Though I did get to shake hands with a Greek captain who was WAY too charmed with my 10 year old self. That'll drive a kid to wanting a drink.
