LONGMONT - Police arrested a 20-year-old man suspected of having assaulted his 46-year father Thursday afternoon, officers reported after being dispatched to check out a disturbance at a home on the 2400 block of Meadow Drive. Officers said the son is alleged to have punched his father in the torso and in the face after the father tried to get the son to go outside and help shovel snow. The son also is suspected of damaging a computer belonging to the father during the incident.
