I'm surprised Manchester isn't on that list, they take off overhead here every couple of minutes, even more in the Summer. Noisy feckers. :meh:

Interesting post

I've been to the mentioned airports in Paris, London, Amsterdam, Chicago, Denver, LA...

Chicago was for sure the worst  What a mess. Even Heathrow wasn't bad compared to O'Hare. Hope I never have to pass through there again. I'd love to visit Chicago but any transfers I've had there have been hellish.

I fly through Atlanta and Dallas all the time. They really aren't bad considering how many people shuffle through there each year.

The only bad part is when you leave the country and then come back through Atlanta. They have half their check in lines for US citizens and the other half for foreigners. Needless to say the US citizen lines are hundreds of people deep and the international lines are totally empty.

I've only flown out of the country from ATL once and never back in. Mostly back in through Philadelphia.
My grandson lives near Dallas and this Christmas when he had a connection in ATL he was escorted to a van and driven to his connection to Charlotte. He thought he was hot shit.

Yup, couldn't agree more...and the big joke seems to be that your arriving flight lands at one end of the airport and your connecting flight leaves clear at the opposite end of the airport. And all you have is like a 20 minute layover to bolt from one end to the other. I've almost missed connecting flights at O'Hare twice because of that.

When I fly United now, I try to make sure I connect in DC instead of O'Hare now (DC is United's other big hub airport).
