As we hopped, skipped and jumped to work this morning we sensed something (no, not that we were late again), rather a presence we’d not felt since our school trip to La Rochelle as sprightly 15-year-olds.

It was then that we felt the force of a Quick burger. We had been waiting for this and now we were to meet again at last. The circle was complete.

That’s right, French fast food chain Quick has issued a special burger in honour of Darth Vader for the 3D release of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. Titled the Dark Vador, it comes with a jet-black (thankfully dyed as opposed to burned) bun for added Sith-like hostility.

For those looking to evoke the spirit of the rebellion, a Yoda-endorsed burger Jedi Burger, will also be on offer. We doubt that’s the burger you’ve been looking for though.

Sure he was. He just wasn't fully grown and went by his given name of Anakin Skywalker.

I always wanted to see what happened between III and IV.

In III we see the Empire create it's clone Army and then in IV the galaxy has already been conquered. I want to see the Empire kicking Rebel ass for an entire movie!

That's the problem with the movies vs the books. Some of the books followed a specific storyline over decades and then they farmed out the idea to random authors who were allowed to contribute.

To me, the 'true' storyline should have been untouched and written by one person. You get some good offshoots of the story, but some plotlines have been diluted or even changed.

Exactly, all he did was change his name later on.

If I changed my name to Redred at 30 years old, and then someone made a three part documentary about me, would you say that Redred wasn't in the first movie because I was called Acid Trip at the time? No because they are clearly the same person.

That's what the whole "clone wars" series on cartoon network is about..
