Just ran across this today. Gm is considering building either this (Code 130R) or the Tru140

If they built this, shoved the Cobalt SS's t270hp turbo 4 cyl and a 6 speed manual in it, kept the price at 20-25k , I would be all over it like Jessica Simpson on flapjacks.

What do y'all think?

The styling doesn't do anything for me, but that's just my personal opinion.

Hmmmm...don't know if it would sell well. The young crowd that would buy this may want road rally cred before they buy one (like the Subaru, Mitsubishi, etc).

But that new Hyundai in the same class as this and is really making an impact - could be the makings of the industry away from the gas hogs...

I kinda like the style. Reminds me of certain other cars I liked, but, to argue over looks is pointless, that's why cars come in many different styles, lol

Being as it's a concept, I wouldn't really expect it to look like this if it made production (though GM did stay pretty close to the concept with the Camaro)
I would be happy as heck if they made it decent looking, and ecstatic that it's rear wheel drive. ( I LOATHE front wheel drive)

I really only care for Chevy's Big line of trucks... Like the 3500 with the Alison transmission..

I agree. Jessica Simpson clearly likes her flapjacks.

I quite like that.... the rear quarter looks pretty muscular. Just a shame the engine's weaksauce

I wouldn't buy anything from Government Motors
