CRESTVIEW — A 33-year-old woman was charged with aggravated assault Jan. 3 after attempting to run over her husband of 10 years.
Jennifer Lee Collinsworth was dropping off her daughters when she and her husband of 10 years began arguing over child custody.
It is not known if the couple is divorced.
Collinsworth ordered her two children inside and asked her husband to come to her while she was in the car to discuss their issues.
The man told deputies he refused to get close because he was worried Collinsworth would try to run him over. Collinsworth became angry that the man wouldn't come near her car and subsequently tried to run him over.
The couple's daughters witnessed the incident and later told deputies that Collinsworth told her 12-year-old daughter she would be pregnant by 16 and told her 7-year-old daughter she would grow up to be a stripper.
