Anyway 'gas' as you refer to it, in my local petrol station is around 138p per litre, and given your smaller version of the gallon, this would mean 522p per gallon, equating to a dollar equivalent gallon cost of $8.45 per gallon.

You know that due to the massive plummeting world currency markets, the Aust dollars is currently trading equal to and just above the US dollar?
They are virtually interchangable now.
