Baseball season is right around the corner :cheers:

The same settings and league as last year, I think everyone that participated should get e-mails about it. If not, let me know. And if there is anyone new that wants to play, bring it on, the more the merrier :thumbsup:

Since we are now in our second year of the league, I activated the 'Keeper League" option. Now you can look at your roster from last year and decide who you want to keep and who you want to let go. You can keep some, none, or all of your team from last year. You have until March 9th to do that. Then, when the league is ready to draft, you will be drafting from the available pool of players not currently attached to any roster to fill your remaining positions.

I think this is better than starting from scratch again this year. :)

And any manager from last year that doesn't play this year will have all their players dumped into the draft pool.

Well, if not all the old managers play, the new people will be given control of an existing team. If enough new people want to join, then we will start from scratch.

When new ownership and management takes over a team, they gotta deal with the cards they were dealt. When an expansion team gets set up, they have to pick from the pool of available players. All signed players are safe from them. That's exactly the way it should be.

Well, then if we go that route, each existing manager wouldn't be allowed to keep their entire team, because when MLB does expansion drafts, existing teams must expose players from their teams to the expansion draft, they are only allowed to protect so many players. We should follow the same rule here.
