Awesome show, better then I expected. They sounded great live , which in my experience is hard for a rap act. One day I'll be balls deep in Yolandi. Crowd was crazy , saw kids that must have been 13 all the way up to people close to 60. And a ton of heavy metal shirts, along with people just rollin on E. Some chick came up asking us for a smoke we told her we didn't have any and she just grabbed my wife's hand and slowly kissed it. So I'm counting that as a 3-some :twisted:

I had season tickets to the performing arts theater in town and really enjoyed them. I dont think Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson or Stone Sour are considered angry. I could see where you might get that idea from a band like Testament....but they are my favorite on that line up \m/

I just got back from the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Second year in a row, and I think it'll be my last. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a bad show, I just get bored easily. I think the show was a little longer this year and it seemed that they had more lights than last year. They had a tribute song to their former producer who died earlier this year. It was a good show, but I need something a little different now. I'm not much for forming habits with respect to shows. I don't get people who have to see the same band 20 times a year every year. It doesn't make sense to me.

Kick: The INXS Experience at House of Blues. They sounded great. The lead had the Hutchense look, but was more effeminate.

The opening act was a local The Who cover band called Who's Who. They were fun! The lead singer looked more like Meatloaf than Townshend or Daultry, but he was hilarious.

Sister treated, including dinner, so bonus for a free night out.

Had Drifting Roots and ZeeCeeKeely at my bar on Sat. Drifting roots was pretty bad. I dont know if ZeeCeeKeely was high on hallucinogens or what but 15 min into their hour set they started to wrap up. Their manager goes to the stage and tells them they need to play until 10 pm. The singer says "its not 10"....mutherfucker you have been on stage for 15 min. Couldnt find the manager at the end of the night to pay the band, find him puking in the bushes. Overall a very professional group of people

Took my daughter to see The Pixies last night. They put out a new album that I haven't heard so that wasn't ideal :lol: But, they hit all the classics so it was a good time.


GA tickets (standing only) were $60 with fees each, the HOB had tons of seating (blocked VIP) and a huge upstairs (blocked VIP) Went to see about getting VIP so we could have a seat and see over everyone since we are both 3' 11''. They wanted $150 per ticket more for downstairs and $200 per for upstairs :shock: WTF So we ended up having to watch from a TV screen and just listening to it live .

I just got tickets for Metallica and Pantera. $100 in ticket master fees for 2 tickets :roll:

My total was about $450 for "club tickets" which I guess gives you access to restaurants, nicer bathrooms, nicer seats and better views. I looked on stubhub and people had them listed for $1200 a piece :lol: So I listed mine for $1000 each, if I can get 2k, Im not going :dance:
