Kacey Jordan, the porn star whom Charlie Sheen paid $30,000 to party with during his now-notorious weekend bender in January, was hospitalized Monday night in Chicago after an alleged suicide attempt.

At least she had the presence of mind to tweet about it...

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that cops found Jordan in her room at the Peninsula Hotel sitting on her bed surrounded by prescription pill bottles, broken glass and alcohol and that she had cuts and scrapes on her arms.

Per TMZ, Chicago cops deemed the suicide messages she tweeted a publicity stunt—even though she allegedly grabbed a corkscrew bottle opener and tried to run out of the room and cut herself. She was subsequently subdued by police and taken to a nearby hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.

A spokesman for the Chicago Police Department tells E! News that officers responded to a "well-being check" last night at the Peninsula Hotel where Jordan was staying and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital. But per HIPAA restrictions about victims and attempted suicides, the spokesman could not confirm her identity.

Yesterday afternoon, Jordan tweeted about drinking Kentucky bourbon and doing cocaine before a morning pedicure, but as the day progressed her tweets became more and more alarming.

After thanking her followers for alerting the hotel and police, Kacey tweeted: "I'm Sooo bored in this hospital bed! I wanna have someone save me..."

What say you, Charlie?

A rep for Jordan could not be reached for comment.

I have to be careful on this serious subject...no rules really but typically those serious about the act will write a letter or note to be opened by someone else, well after the act is committed.Others who are down and need some attention are prone to announcing the act to others before any real consideration into doing it happens.

Of course there's people from both sides who go against the norm....one guy featured in that movie The Bridge, complained to his friends for years without doing anything...and then one day took the jump :(

Kacey Jordan Denies Suicide Attempt: "I Was the Only Sane Person in the Psych Ward"

Kacey Jordan insists that her so-called suicide attempt this week was a false alarm and not a cry for help.

"It was not as bad as the first report said," Charlie Sheen's former good-time gal tells E! News, referring to reports that police were called to her room at the Peninsula Hotel in Chicago, where they found her with cuts on her arms and her room littered with prescription pills, booze and broken glass.

But Jordan can explain.

"The cops were called because I was a disturbance in the hotel and I was mad when they got there," she says. "I chugged a glass of Jack and Coke in front of them and threw the glass on the ground before telling them to take me."

With police concluding that a handful of disturbing tweets she had posted were not serious, Jordan was taken into custody and put on a 48-hour psychiatric hold at Northwestern Memorial Hospital after reportedly charging at one of the officers while holding a corkscrew.

She admits to having cut herself earlier in the evening, but not with the intent of killing herself.

"They took me away in handcuffs and took me to the ER and later sent me to the psych ward," Jordan says. "I was the only sane person in there."

But though she seems to be taking all this in stride, Jordan—who hit up E! News, Good Morning America, The Howard Stern show and more after spending a wild day and night with Charlie Sheen—says she's tired of getting this type of publicity.

"I want to focus on getting a job in radio, cohosting a show," she says, adding that she's currently back home in Oregon with her family and is doing "much better now."
