Man Says Incident Happened On First Day Of Lent

David Sandoval said he saw the image on Ash Wednesday last week. He said he has always been a believer but he just couldn't quite believe he was actually seeing the face of Jesus on a tortilla.
"It became even more astonishing, with it being the first day of Lent," Sandoval said. "I passed it to my mom and the same response came from her, 'Oh my God.'"
Sandoval posted a photo of the tortilla bearing the face of Jesus on Facebook.
"Everybody has been able to see it. They're calling it a miracle," Sandoval said. "New Mexico has always been known to have interesting things happen during Lent time."
Sandoval said nothing would surprise him, especially if it involves a higher power.
