It's safe to say March is not Michael Madsen's lucky month.
Just a year after the Kill Bill actor got into a legal snafu over child and spousal support charges (right around this time in March), Madsen is back in trouble again after getting busted on child cruelty charges Friday afternoon.
So what went down?
Allegedly Madsen got into a physical altercation with his teenage son at his Malibu home, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
And deputies on hand said the 53-year-old Reservoir Dogs thesp appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time.
His bail was set at $100,000 after he was booked at the Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.
Madsen's reps have not yet responded to requests for comment, but upon his release Saturday morning, Madsen told TMZ the incident was a "big misunderstanding."
