A Connecticut man has been arrested for allegedly paying a girl $21 to fight a younger teenager that he suspected of bullying his daughter said police on Friday.
Philip Prokop, 42, of Shelton, is to face charges of inciting injury to a person, risk of injury to a minor and conspiracy to commit third-degree assault.
Police in Shelton said that he paid off a 17-year-old girl to fight the 13-year-old girl that he suspected of verbally intimidating his 15-year-old daughter.

Arrested and released on $10,000 bail, Prokop denies all the charges and claims that he went to a local diner with his daughter only to confront the alleged bully verbally.
'It all stems from the kids bullying my daughter to the point she wanted to do harm to herself,' Prokop said in an interview. 'I would never do anything to harm anybody or pay anybody to do anything. That's absurd.'
Prokop is due to appear in Derby Superior Court on Monday.
Authorities interviewed witnesses after the fight and determined that Prokop paid a 17-year-old girl to fight a 13-year-old girl, according to police Lt. Robert Kozlowsky. Prokop was also accused of grabbing another 13-year-old girl to keep her from joining the fight.
Prokop said he brought his son and daughter to the shopping center that day, introduced himself by name to the girls and had no intention of doing anything more than asking for his daughter to be left alone.

'The fight that supposedly broke out had nothing to do with me whatsoever,' said Prokop.
'I was actually trying to break the fight in which I was hit from behind.'
Prokop spoke with WTNH in an interview which he used to deny all the charges against him.
'My daugher was put through torture and she finally came forward to tell us,' said Prokop.
'The kids are afraid to speak up.'
Speaking about the incident, Prokop said that the situation spiraled out of control.
'I introduced myself and who I was and who my daughter was and I told them to stop bullying my daughter,' said Prokop.
'And then next thing there was a girl on the ground.
'The girl that bullied my daughter was on top of that girl beating her face in.'
Prokop said that was the moment he stepped into the fight to end it, but he was physically tackled from behind.
'You don't know, it could've been a man, anybody, in which I wiggled them off,' siad Prokop.
It transpired that the person he wriggled off was a child and hours later, he was arrested.
Prokop's daughter, 15-year-old Rose backed her father up and claimed that there was no way she could continue at school with the bullying.
'It got really bad,' said Rose.
'People would always make comments about me, put me down, look at me differently.'
She told WTHN that the bullying made her feel, 'Hurt, sad, scared, at the same time' and that the bullying went as far as to question whether she was pregnant or not.
Rose said there was one girl in particular who she wanted to stop.
'She wrote on Facebook, 'I love how you're spreading rumours about me.' explained Rose.
'I thought the only thing you could spread are your legs.'
Rose denied her father would pay $21 to someone to fight on her behalf.
'I don't think he'd pay someone To beat up a kid, for then the kid to get beat up,' said Rose.
However, the parents of the 13-year old girl who Prokop allegedly wanted beaten up have spoke out with their fury.
'She was picked up and thrown head first into a car,' said Bill Landan, the father of the unnamed teenager.
'My daughter did end up with a concussion.
'And this is especially hurtful knowing an older person, a parent would actually put his hands on somebody else's child.
'She still struggles with it, she looks over her shoulder.'
