SPOILER ALERT POSSIBILITY - Do Not Read Further If You Don't Want To Know
Last night on the Late Show, David Letterman might have stoked the wrath of Christopher Nolan with his off-the-cuff commentary on The Dark Knight Rises. "It's not essential to watch previous installations of Batman, and I think this is it," he told his guest, Anne Hathaway. "And in the end, Batman is dead." Hathaway cocked her head, uttered a reprimanding "Dave!" and decorously laughed it off before turning to the camera, "Chris, I had no part in it, I'm sorry." Dead giveaway, or bad joke? You decide.
