A 19-year-old man remained jailed Thursday accused of raping his friend’s mother.
Allen Michael Cummins, of the 7500 block of Ebson Drive, North Fort Myers, was charged with sexual battery and burglary.
According to a Lee County Sheriff’s Office report:
The mother told deputies her son and Cummins had been at her house earlier in the evening Tuesday, left to go fishing, returned, ate something and left again.
At some point, the son and Cummins parted ways. About 2:30 a.m. Wednesday the son, whose name and age were not released because of the nature of the incident, received a call from Cummins. Cummins reportedly said he was locked out of his house and was going to the mother’s house to “f**k his mother.” The son did not believe Cummins was sincere.
Shortly after 3 a.m. the mother, who had been sleeping on her couch, was awakened by a man. She could not see his face because the house was dark, but recognized his voice. The man threw her to the floor and raped her. He then left the house.
