A man implicated in a French fry flap at a Port St. Lucie McDonald's likely was not lovin' it when police locked him up on misdemeanor charges.

The case against Cory Terique Bryan, 22, happened about 2:20 a.m. July 11 at a McDonald's in the 1000 block of Southeast Port St. Lucie Boulevard, a recently released Port St. Lucie police report states.

A manager told police a man identified as Bryan was causing a brouhaha in the eatery, yelling at her and knocking over a full soda cup.

"She said he was upset over some French fries he had ordered," a report states.

The manager said she refused to serve Bryan and wanted him out.

Further, she said she asked him to put on his shirt, but he refused.

The report did not state whether McDonald's has a "No shirt, no shoes, no service"-type policy.

Police reported Bryan yelled that he wanted his fries -- strips, wedges or linear sections of deep-fried potatoes oft enjoyed with ketchup and a dash of salt.

The McDonald's website describes the business' fries as "world famous," boasting a "golden" exterior and a "soft and fluffy" interior.

"Made with quality potatoes and cooked in our Canola oil blend for zero grams of trans fat per serving," the web site states. "Now that's an epic bite."

It wasn't immediately clear whether Bryan got an "epic bite" or bites. He smelled of booze and said he'd imbibed five cups of alcohol.

Bryan, of the 1600 block of Southeast Tiffany Club Place in Port St. Lucie, was arrested on disorderly intoxication and resisting without violence charges.
