More than three decades after she she found fame in The Dukes Of Hazzard Catherine Bach remains a fashion inspiration.
But while teenage girls the world over count their 'Daisy Dukes' as wardrobe staples, it seems the actress who gave them their name has put her denim days behind her.
The Eighties pin up went unrecognised as she relaxed on the beach in Hawaii yesterday.

In her iconic denim cutoffs and checked shirt Catherine graced the walls of an entire generation of teenage boys.
But yesterday she chose a sensible black swimsuit, later covering up with a brightly coloured kaftan as she joined her daughters Sophia and Laura in Maui.
She showed she is still active as she joined her teenage daughters in the surf.
In her heyday the actress' long slender legs were insured for $1million.
'I've put on a little weight, but so what?' she told People magazine recently.
Catherine has spoken out about Hollywood's obsession with being skinny.

She recalled how she kept in shape by 'dancing three hours a day, hiking and swimming'.
'I wasn't skinny from dieting; I was an athlete,' she added.
The family suffered tragedy two years ago with the suicide of their husband and father Peter Lopez.

Catherine has revealed police originally thought she was the victim after they realised a gun had gone off at her San Fernando, California home.
'There was somebody that was stalking me at that point and the police thought that this person had found me and that the gunshot that went off was for me, not for Peter,' Bach told Entertainment Tonight.
'So it was completely shocking and nobody understood what had happened, especially not me because we were very happy.'

Bach said there were no signs that her husband of 19 years was depressed or that he planned to take his own life.
‘He was very happy with his family and very proud of his girls.
‘We had a deep love... We were together. We were very happy for 19 years.’
