An air guitar can turn any average joe into an overnight rock god.
This year, the U.S. Air Guitar Regional Championship boasted a high number for rock hopefuls — including Brock Mcrock, a rising star on the U.S. Air Guitar circuit.
The Texas-native has been competing for four years, but did he have the air guitar skills to take home the grand prize?
During the competition, each air guitarist had 60 seconds to wow the judges. Judges looked for technical prowess, charisma, stage presence, ability to connect with the crowd, and overall ‘airness.’
Bing wanted to search out hip happenings for their ‘Summer of Doing‘ series, so they enlisted the help of MTV’s Damien Fahey to find the ultimate in what to do this summer — and they found it in Los Angeles’ famous Troubadour club where the annual tournament was held.
