MESA, Ariz. -- A Mesa woman has been accused of driving under the influence after getting into an accident with her child in the car.

Brianne Bird, 32, was arrested this week after reportedly crashing into a propane tank with her baby in the back seat.

No injuries were reported, but police said Bird was under the influence of prescription drugs.

Bird was taken to jail on charges of aggravated DUI and criminal damage.

Bird’s arrest was her second DUI charge this week. The day before crashing into the propane tank she was reportedly arrested for DUI in Tempe.
