Apparently, the sourcing manager I was helping wanted "someone with more buying experience". Along with the fact that they lost their largest customer the first week I was there, and had to close a plant and lay people off so they kicked me to the curb.

Whatever, their loss. I'll find something.

The friend in Idaho has been there about a week with her brother, who's been up there a year or so.
She was working in a yacht related industry and has worked in Miami and Hilton Head Island. A few weeks ago, she was on the coast of NC in the Outer Banks, then moved to Michigan for a job at a resort. She only stayed a week because it was so cold. Next thing I knew, she's in Idaho with her brother.
She'll be back in SC before long. I couldn't make it up there either. I about froze to death that week in England.
