It has flown by for me too. I finally have a job I like and with people who respect and appreciate me AND I have the weekend off to spend with my hubby in the beautiful NC mountains!

It's construction and it's shutdowns, so it's a week or two here and a week or three there, but it's what I did years ago and made a good living at it. The woman who is training me is trying her best to retire and she's been with them for 10 years or so. I know I'll have a job as long as I want it.
I can enjoy the time off because I know I have something next week and the next, although they're in different places.


When we rode the bus out this morning, one of the guys started freaking out because he lost $200 cash, all the money he has until he gets paid next week. I took him back to the gate to look for it but he didn't find it, then gave him a ride to the motel. He wanted to stop at the store for beer in smokes but his debit card wouldn't work so he asked me if he could borrow $7. I only had a $5 so I went in a got him a 6 pack of Bud to go with the quart and pack of cigs. :lol:
I'd be freaking out too if I got off work and didn't have a beer.

Yeah, but in another way they're constantly putting strain on their hearts so if there is an underlying problem then this can happen.......... still no further word atm :wha:
