Make sure you mark all of the forum sections on the various boxes!! Getting a company to move for you is handy, but they sometimes break things :x

This reminds me of why I got fired from a certain place - we had a data center out in the middle of the country, and I was the guy's right hand man taking care of all sorts of crap. He spends however long building an environment, very complex...and from the data center it gets a virus, they reboot it, its all gone. Oops, hey, the backup is gone too. He builds it all from scratch again. Couple weeks later he calls up the data center and tells them "there's not a damn thing in the system32 dir, but its up and running - I can fix this, but whatever you do, do not reboot the server...of course what's the first thing they go do 15 minutes later - reboot the server. Backup is too shoddy and does not restore, it must be built from scratch again. He does it one more time and tells our employer that we need to take some more forceful action with these screwballs at the data center because he's not doing this again, next time it happens he's walking out the door. Few weeks later we start hearing about some other virus activity and other problems over there and tells our employer that this is crazy why are we wasting our time on crap like this when we keep losing it, I might as well go delete the V drive right now.

So as a solution, they fire him. Then they fire me 2 hours later just because they're too idiotic and paranoid and think maybe for some reason he'd call me and tell me to do it in retaliation. Its awesome being a contractor at a huge company. :thumbsup:

My husband came up Friday night after his work and we stayed here for the weekend because we had tickets at the casino in Cherokee to see Lyle Lovett. He's staying here this week driving back and forth to Greenville so we can be together. I'll work here next week and maybe a couple of days the next, then have a few weeks off unless something unplanned comes up. Going home this weekend for Mother's Day.

I get to go back to my dentist's office tonight because they screwed up my billing. They sneakily tried to throw the extra charges on my credit card without telling me. Too bad the card has expired which incited them to call me :face:

I call, chick wants my new credit card number. I say - I'll be in tonight to pay by debit or cash. She says - Oh no sir we need your credit card number. I say - fuck off and die, see you in three hours :lol:
