To be honest though, it was a complete shit hole when I took it on so I knew it was going to be hard going for the first couple of years, on top of that I've expanded and doubled the capacity of the salon and fitted out a new staff room so that the girls have somewhere away from the main work area to chill during breaks, I recon another six months should see most of the work completed so I can sit back a little then.

Yeah it has, when I first did my business plan I estimated the gross yearly income based on previous owners figures, and in 18 months I’ve doubled that, it’s been a hard slog at times but well worth it, and as much as I complain, I love my work and the projects keep me focused, I often wonder if I'll lose interest in it once all the challenges have been met, I set myself goals and go all out to achieve them and that’s what drives me.
