They're not very big. They're only about 3 and a 1/2 inches from claw to tail tip when stretched out. Most of the time, they're hiding under large rocks and logs and stuff like that. They're really easy to miss outside, but damn if they can't squeeze through the smallest cracks. I have to put about a dozen back outside per year.

I like having the best of both worlds....I live 15 minutes from downtown Denver and only about 90 minutes from where I took that photo I posted :)

Exactly....I would hate to live too far from either. I like being close to the city where there's 3 million people, but I also love the fact that in just over an hour I can be somewhere that I can feel like I'm the only person on the whole planet

the reason the king brown is so bad is they are aggressive (and top 10 poisonous), iv seen one jump into a river from the other side swim across flat out and jump up at my uncle. he was a prick so understandable but most snakes wont do that. :lol:
