Actually yes. I have really enjoyed working there.

Retail's got a shitty reputation and yes the money is pretty bad, but I have really enjoyed the people I have worked with, the management is good, and most of the customers are very nice as well.

I dunno....... i felt ok before the game, was really confident and really happy that i'd finally been drawn against a good player so i knew i'd be involved in a good game (turned out to be a poor game from both of us tbh :lol: )........ i think i was probably trying too hard :-k My first dart kept drifting into the 5s, lost count of the amount of T5s i hit :| Doesn't help that our captain seems to change the order on a weekly basis :roll: One week i'm playing 2nd, the next week i'm playing 7th, the next week i'm on 4th etc......... i generally tried to keep everyone around the same spot last season so they'd know when they were going to be on each week and could prepare better! Think i'll be back as captain next year anyway ;)

Good wed morning to ya'll. Yesterday was a bust. Stayed home to do some yard work, but weather didn't cooperate. Wound up re hanging front door (house settled, so wasn't latching properly) then had to fix the vacuum. Was just about to have a beer and practice when I remembered I had promised a buddy that I'd come by his house to help him work on his wife's car. Hooked my scanner up to it and found the MAF was bad. So had a couple beers with him and visited for a bit.

Lance, was reading the "last thing you bought" thread....I've been with my wife for 20 years now, and could count on one hand the times I've bought her anything on Valentines Day. She used to get mad, but after I explained the reasoning, and she realized that she gets gifts all year long for no reason other than I love her, she understands and accepts it now. I think the best time was once when we were broke as hell, I wanted to get her some flowers for her birthday, but we couldn't afford them, so I drove around the back roads, picking wildflowers. Had them in a vase and on the table when she got home.

I think the best time was once when we were broke as hell, I wanted to get her some flowers for her birthday, but we couldn't afford them, so I drove around the back roads, picking wildflowers. Had them in a vase and on the table when she got home.
