I took the day off (without pay) because it's my Mom and Dad's anniversary. My ma is so bad that she doesn't recognize my pa most days...and tries to kick him out the house. She always remembers who I am for some reason, so I look after her when my Dad has to go somewhere for more than 4 hours (she's on 24 hour oxygen and probably wouldn't know what to do if she fell etc..)

He's out getting a much needed break for most of the day, and I offered to cook them anniversary dinner :lol: I hope they like Life cereal and toast..


you guys didn't know, I understand that....but most of my recent days off are for someone else now. I had to buy my Mom an anniversary card, for her to give to my Dad, because she didn't believe he was her husband.
That was tough :|

They said i wouldn't even have to change any router settings tbh.......... i dunno, was the only thing i could think of tbh :-k When i came home at lunchtime it wouldnt connect so i rebooted the router, it then connected for 5 mins or so then dropped out again! Eventually came back online by itself but when i got home from work it had disconnected again.

Thank god the part I ordered yesterday arrived today, and it worked! Was all done with this rig by noonish, so came back to hotel, took a shower, grabbed the wife, took her out to eat, then ran up to Oklahoma and went gambling for a couple hours. Now back at hotel, packing everything up. Have to run to Ardmore, OK tomorrow and give 3 rigs up there a basic checkup. No reported problems, so, with a bit of luck, should be on the way home by noon or so.
Tomorrow, have to take my truck to the bodyshop. Last weekend, my buddies wife backed into the doors on my drivers side. While it's in the bodyshop, gonna see how much they'd charge me to go ahead and repaint the rest of the truck too.

So, I got a letter from the electric co. saying I needed to call a certified electrician to fix my meter as it "caused a dangerous situation"
I looked it over and seems as if the clasp that holds the cover on the box broke. (looked like it's been like that for awhile.)

Certified electrician my ass, I riveted a tab onto the bottom of the box, cut a slot in it then made a clasp to pivot down and fit in the slot and riveted that to the cover. Total cost $0 Total time about an hour.

I even drilled a little hole in the bottom of the clasp so they can put their stupid tag on it.
