I like getting paid out and I hate it too....I like it because I can definitely use the money for bills since we have been funneling money towards Christmas presents the last 6 weeks or so, but I was planning on taking the 2 days after X-mas off and since I will be paid out early, unless I stash some money aside, my paycheck for that week will be short since I won't have any vacation left. :wha:

dammit...my 65 yr old east Indian coworker was taken to the hospital from work here this morning with a heart attack or a stroke....it's his second one

he outworks people 20 yrs younger than him and he changed his diet completely after the first stroke, no sugar etc and started losing quite a bit of weight...I love that guy :(

thanks for the well wishes mates...

the old guy had extreme pain down his left leg and they're checking him for a stroke or heart attack...one EMS guy said his symptoms didn't indicate the former so it may be some other cause...which is good. Could be sciatica nerve problems etc...isn't good but it's 100 times better than another stroke. We've been shoveling a lot of snow at our homes and lifting a lot this month at work...that usually contributes to some pain issues


he's such a kind, considerate guy....the only time he's missed work was when he had his first stroke...and that was less than two weeks :lol: #SuperBrown-man

We had 10 days of -30 and below recently with snow and ice daily....I've lived here for 48 winters and that little blast was unmanageable for the entire city. It's ok if they make an attempt on our roads but like I mentioned in another post, we had 3200 reported accidents in less than a 2 week period...it's unnerving if you have to work, shop etc.


Wish it could be like school and the city just declares Snow Days and we all could stay home :lol:
