my guy did his brutal bit trying to save my tooth...ate a donut yesterday and hit the roof.....like a cavity up under my gumline...and no temperature hot or cold :|

then he says the 1400 estimate for a root canal will be higher at the specialists...and my crown pre-auth is another 1000 bucks....for something that may be going on outside the tooth. As in, the root canal may not address any of the pain and the freezing won't work during the RC...got that tshirt already and won't do it again.

Today was fubar. Have a little piss ant pressure washer with steam heaters at the shop. It's not working, and at this point, looks like everyone and their buddy has had their hands on it. Finally contacted the manufacturer and was able to get some schematics. Only to find that for some reason (and it's wired that way) 120vac is short to ground when you push the start button. Going to call the manufacturer tomorrow. No way it should be that way. So. Getting my hair cut. Oh goody, my fav girl is here today. Fixed the problem I was working on yesterday. Turns out the manufacturer schematics were wrong. I was right. Then was able to isolate what the problem actually was. Made a temp fix and ordered the right part. So, the rest of today is likely to be goofing off, studying some manuals on equipment I'm not familiar with. Tomorrow is supposed to be half day, then Monday is company holiday, so will have a long weekend unless one of the 8 rigs in my area go down.

The day off is because my company (Precision Drilling) is Canadian. Today is some kind of holiday up there I guess, and it so happened to fall on presidents day. Worked out okay as I had to work 18 hrs Saturday.
As for cutting grass, it beats shoveling snow, lol. Mostly was cutting weeds and mulching up leaves.
The oil leak is gonna cost me. I suppose I could tear the engine all the way down to fix it, but I'm lazy. I'll pay the local small engine guy to do it, as long as it doesn't cost too much.

It's been a strange "winter" here, it's hardly gone below 0C at all :-k I think there was 2 or 3 days in a row that there was frost on the cars in the morning but that's about it.......... just tons and tons of rain instead :lol: Can't remember a winter being as mild as this in my lifetime tbh.

Good morning. I do not want to go to work. The commute is going to be ridiculous again. It was stop and go yesterday, double the normal time. Last night coming home, the fog was so thick I could see maybe 100 feet in front of me and it was raining heavily.
