I use to change a proxy setting in FF options (no proxy) and that got me past any filtered sites. Now it's picking and choosing and I must browse with the designated proxy IP again :x If I set it to no proxy the browser won't even go to my home page which is google.

hehe...laptop & acoustic...are areas of expertise of mine so I've been contracted to perform the duties. both are just WAYYYYY more than I bargained for. laptop the bios is all fkd up and I havent been able to upgrade it, but I think all I have to do with that is either go to the rev just above what it currently has, or try to reinstall what it currently has, then go from there and see if I can get it up to the latest rev. thinks theres a damned bios & hdd password to start anything up.

and the acoustic...very dry year last year over the winter, I had this happen to one of my acoustics also - wood dries up and the bridge split a bit away from the body. I tried just clamping it down but its fkd enough that I have to remove the entire bridge (even more of a pain since this is a classical guitar, not a reg acoustic) and sand both that and the bridge down so that they will mate properly again. I have a tape job to do on it, then a nice lil block of aluminum heated to 250f, heat the knoife, and work the sumbich off. that one was way more than I bargained for, the top was warped on it and everything, but I already flattened it with a steam treatment and some plywood/weight for a week.

that's part of the problem with being jack of all trades, I have too many people asking me for favors. my other buddy is creating this bigass band space in a warehouse, ~6 good sized jam rooms and 2 that are pretty large, I got asked to help them do all the electrical work on the place...

if I retired, I'd probably have enough time for it all....but then I wouldnt have the money for pretty much any :lol:

A good few years ago i bought myself a Gibby SJ-200............. and i ended up selling it *punches self for eejitism* :facepalm: That's now twice i've sold great guitars and replaced them with shite :( I had a US Strat with a fucking epic neck on it and sold it to buy a (fucking leadf weight piece of shit) jet black Gibby SG standard, fuckin idiot :x

Did get lucky once though, traded a spraygun for an ibanez roadster2 which has an even better neck than my old strat! :cheers:

Its an alvarez classical... my buddy got some quotes to fix what needed to be done, and one guy said a favor would be $1200 for that repair :lol:

I have too many instruments to work on - I mentioned my old guild acoustic, I think that might have separated at the bridge a bit too, I was mad - dad gave me that guitar in second grade! the other I know for sure it happened on is my michael kelley 5 string fretless acoustic bass. oh :lol: dave's wife has a real old guild worth a few grand, same shit - silly me, I have four guitars to do bridges on, I think.

two others I am working on is my dimebag 333 that I did a veneer job on, front & back...I am going to outsource the rest of the paint, clear etc to my new drummer for at wits end, he's a badass painter, does mostly car stuff. and he acts like Dave Lombardo behind the drums :lol: I got that thing for 200 bucks because the headstock was snapped off, but it plays like a million bucks right now...just no finish or pickups in it!

after that I have an Ibanez rg custom neck through to do a veneer job on, I already did the sides in the same walnut burl I used on the dime guitar, but I am going to have to find....I had a rel nice spalted maple top on it but I fucked it up and had to remove it, I was pissed, it was beautiful wood.
