I can't remember the last time I felt that bad, left work at 8 AM and went to the Urgent Care facility, every time I tried to swallow it felt like there was broken glass in my throat. Acute strep throat, where the fuck I picked that up I don't know but I'm guessing some kid at the soccer tournament over the weekend probably had it and I was in proximity enough :|

Almost 24 hours on antibiotics and my throat is still a little sore, but nowhere near as bad as yesterday. It hurt to drink ice cold water FFS. I've had one piece of toast in the last 3 days.

I caught a lung/throat infection a few weeks back....one night, scratchy throat, next morning I was at the docs....she gave me some goofballs for the infection and even today my throat is still thrashed.

Same here...I got these football size antibiotics (14$ each without a drugplan) and my throat was so bad I could barely get them down :lol:

I had this horrible burning in my chest after I coughed and phlegm you could put up wallpaper with, so it was a lung Xray for me because of having pneumonia before. Luckily lungs were ok, but the throat thing continues....my doc said for me, the combo of quitting smoking and a virulent strain of the flu late this spring brought on the throat infection. Yay not-smoking :lol:

I just saw a contract listing for something in the oil biz....1850-2150 per DAY. Contract is for one year, 45 hours per week in an offsite building made specifically for the contract worker.

All the younger folk use it nowadays, pretty much all i ever hear from the younger boys at work is "i saw this on facebook". I have an account but dont use it much........does come in handy now and again i suppose but doesnt afford you the same freedom as a forum.

Yup, I hear that, I'm slammed at work too, drives me crazy. It's either feast or famine, it sucks.
