Can't ask the wife to take the day off, she's already taken a buttload of time off work this year, so I told her I'd do it. She's disappointed that she will have to miss both games though. What sucks is, they are clear up in Boulder, which on a good day is an hour drive from home. The first game is at noon and the second one at 4:30, so they are too far apart to really want to hang around and wait for the next game, but they are too close together to really make it worth driving home and then driving back to the soccer complex :|

Our team was way out of their competition level...the tournament misrepresented themselves to the coaching staff. Our girls are just a rec level (recreational) team. The tournament was almost all competitive level teams, and there's a HUGE skill level difference between the two.

It actually didn't seem that bad, the first game we lost only 2-0 (1-0 really, a bullshit call by the ref gave the opposing team a PK and they scored on it), but then the second and third games were just ridiculous. We lost the second game 12-0 and the third game 15-1. It was like watching pros play against our girls, it was just awful.
