Our starting XI had 26 caps total between them, most of our regulars didn't travel. Mexico's apparently had around 500 caps :lol:

Our 3 main keepers Craig Gordon, Shagger McGregor and David Marshall all absent, our two left sided starters Kieran Tierney and Andy Robertson missing, practically the entire midfield (Fletcher, McArthur, Morrison, Ritchie, McGregor) all stayed at home plus our main striker Leigh Griffiths.

All in all iirc we had 11 new caps over the two games which will stand the kids in good stead for the Euro qualifiers if called upon :)

From the starting lineup against Mexico i wouldnt be too surprised if none of that eleven are in our starting lineup for the first qualifier.

The pro marijuana people always say otherwise, but yes, IMO it's gotten much worse. FAR MORE homeless people here now, can't drive past a street corner without there being someone begging for money. Crime is up, especially violent crimes. Many more shootings than there ever were before. Driving under the influence accidents are way up. But all the state cares about is all that tax money it brings in.

It was fuckin awesome mate, blew me away! I literally had tears in my eyes at the intro when the first strum of Start Me Up was played :lol: Must be getting old, my dad tears up at good music too :lol:

Ended up being a very expensive day though - sitting in a pub in Edinburgh and my mate tells me John Fogerty (my dads hero) is playing in London later this year. Id always promised my dad we'd go see him if he ever came back over here........ so, one trip to ticketmaster later and id booked 3 tickets (mum dad and me) for it! Still need to get flights and digs sorted out but mum says she'll split the cost. It's my dad's 70th in july so had to make his present a good one........ he'll be fucking ecstatic....... and tearful no doubt :lol:

All in all saturday cost me over £400 :(

Yeah, I look at it the same way as if I wanted to go to Vegas from Denver. Probably around a 1 hour flight and about a 10 hour drive through the mountains of Colorado and the canyons of Utah. I'd drive.

Yea, usually around 10 hours is my limit. Anything over that I fly. Especially considering all the cheap flights have a layover somewhere, Be at the airport 2 hours early, 2 hour layover, an hour in the air and an hour getting your bags and a rental car.... It becomes 6 hours fly or 10 hour drive, I'd rather drive and not deal with some kid coughing Ebola all over me.
