Think i have the flu :| Yesterday morning when i woke up i was feeling achy all over, my back was really shivery and my head was sweating like hell..... went to work anyway. Came home a bit early and went straight to my bed. I was wearing a onesie, big wooly slippers, inside a sleeping bag, and under a big duvet....... and still shivering like hell. Haven't left my bed since other than to the toilet.

You have a good time at Christmas mate? I ended up being barman for the day at our local Football Social Club on Christmas day (guy who's done it last couple of years is ill atm).

Opened at 1pm, closed at 4.30pm or so, took nearly £300 over the bar :lol: Usual crew, dad and i, couple of mates and their dads plus a few neighbours - my mum even joined us this year as my gran is back in hospital. It was good fun and set me up perfectly for the t-bone steak! Fell asleep after dinner, woke up around midnight and my sleep schedule has been fucked ever since :lol:

It was okay I guess, didn't really do a whole lot. Went over to the wife's parents place for dinner as usual. It was quiet. And then the rest of the week/weekend just kind of did stuff around the house. Change out some light switches over to smart switches, installed a new light over the back deck. Nothing too terribly exciting unfortunately. Plus Saturday the weather was shitty, cold and snowy and yesterday was just cold.

Nah, just be like any other day for me. I'm not 21 anymore and I hate huge crowds of people as I get older :lol: New Year's Eve is pretty much amateur night and it's no fun dealing with that. Plus not to mention the fact that the chances of getting stopped for DUI is like a million times higher on a night like that. Even having one beer can get you fucked up enough to get you arrested because the alcohol limits are so low now. Just not worth it.
