Makes you wonder how they did it back in the day. There were still a crap ton of promoters and it always seemed that the biggest fighters were always managed by different promoters, but they were always able to somehow get the fights done. But then we got to the point where the top fighters would only end up defending their belt once, maybe twice a year, and the rest of the time they did nothing. And then they tried to do EVERYTHING either on Pay TV (HBO or Showtime) or PPV. There was almost no boxing on regular TV, when at one time, there was great boxing every single weekend on TV.

Compare that to UFC and they are fighting ALL the time. And you're right, with the fighters all being under contract to just the UFC itself, it makes it a lot easier to get things done.

I bought a new alarm clock last year, best one i've ever had! It's one of those "sunrise" alarms, so it gets brighter over a period of 30 mins then a national radio station comes on after the 30 mins is up. Most of the time i wake up before the radio comes on tbh, but it is way nicer than regular alarms!

Storm was moving at like 30mph so it whipped by fast. I already had problem trees taken care of, but dude across the street got a pine on his house...that's still on it, but I guess tree trimmers are busy!
