My boss does stupid shit like that too - couple of weeks back we had an argument coz he wanted me to prioritize a job from a customer we used to do a lot of work for (they do their own work in-house now but wanted us to bail them out of the shit in a hurry). I told him there was no way i was doing that job before any of the others that were booked in and he took the huff with me :roll: Ended up doing the job after id finished the important stuff and still had it finished in time....... havent seen another job from them since, as i expected.

Just about $800, the tank itself cracked and it is still under a partial warranty. So we have to pay for labor only. Took the wife 2 fucking hours to get thru to Rheem to talk to someone about getting the warranty covered.

Yup, $800-ish for labor, install, and haul away of the old tank (that's barely 3 years old). It was a 9 year tank warranty, so we don't even get the full 9 years on the new tank they will be putting in, our 'new' warranty starts where the last one ended, so we'll only get 6 years even though they are putting in another 9 year warranty tank. :|

Couldn't even take a cold shower last night either. The guy that came to look at the tank yesterday helped the wife drain it and everything so it's ready to go, but there's no cold water to the shower because of that? There's cold water at every other faucet in the house but not at either of the showers and I don't know why. I had no idea that shutting off the water to the hot water heater shut off ALL the water to the showers.
