Doing good for the time being. Hubby sent me home with some British pounds but I don't know what to do with them here. He told me not to convert them at the airport so I'll take them to my bank and let them deal with them. :lol:

Hey Lance. As of now, have a flight out on the 18th. Still up in the air a bit. Have two more generators to test and synchronize, then set power limits and I'll be done. The biggest hang up is I need them to run all equipment at full capacity in order to set power limits, and they are no where near ready for that yet. We'll see. Also got an email from the guys in South Australia, they may want me to come there when I leave here fro a week or so to do some modifications.

Dunno, not even sure if going yet. They had wanted to make some mods, and CC'd me the email sent to our sales dept. I sent them an email back telling them a better and cheaper way to do it that would only take me 3-4 days to do, as opposed to 15-20 days to do what they asked for. end result would be close enough that the operators wouldn't be able to tell the difference. (<200apms)

Hey Kev - that reminds me of when I travelled to England backpacking through Europe. I had no friends in London where the plane first landed so a friend gave me the phone number of her friend. She said "hope it's OK- he's gay you know". I didn't care - I just said "any moves he puts on me will be wasted". :)

We had a great time and his friends constantly kept asking "you don't mind being seen with people like us?" I didn't. Good company is good company. I hung out with them before venturing off to France.

imagine 90 degree heat, booze everywhere and 100000 people per day, 80000 of which are completely hot girls wearing...next to nothing.

It's a slutfest of epic proportions...some guys don't even buy ride tickets or gamble or go the grandstand show....they just buy the entrance fee and walk around.
They do have the best junkfood on the planet tho I must admit..
