Same here :lol: I spent a fortune yesterday at the bowls......... bought a new set of bowls from one of our opponents :oops: He was playing with a set of blue bowls that looked smart as fuck........ and it turned out he was selling them, after a bit of haggling i got them for £80! They cost £185 to buy new and he's only played with them two or three times (as good as new basically) so i couldnt pass up the opportunity - plus they're exactly the same as my own bowls....... except a nice speckled blue colour :) I'll see if i can find a pic of them.....

Our Filipino girl dumped a rack on Friday...5 pallets of assorted customer stock came down.One carton of stock can easily be 500 dollars...and if we lose or destroy certain client's stock like insurance companies of utility companies...they don't do their business for that day.

Everyone is panicking, the girl who did it is pale and asking about her job and I step up and say - No one was injured, we can fix the beam that was bent and only a few cartons were damaged, which I can 'creatively explain' since we have a water main burst in the building a couple of weeks ago.

Even if thousands of dollars of stock were damaged and the client was hooped, you gotta eat the cost, ask the client if a delay is acceptable and move on with egg on your face.No one likes making a big mistake at work...it's how you get up afterwards after the fall that's important :thumbsup:

- broke an electric window controller on a bmw 7-series (expensive :oops: )
- had a BMW 5-series rear bumper crushed by mistake 8-[ That cost about £400 + painting to fix :oops:
- caught the edge of the spraybooth main door with a morgan aero 8 and had to repair an entire panel :oops:

We used to get horror show orders on Friday nights....THE PLANES CAN'T TAKE OFF WITHOUT THE PROPER DOCUMENTATION!!! :x


We lost all of the printing and distribution for the client...we simply didn't bid when the contract came up because their forms
and ordering process caused so much extra time and stress.

We were making slight adjustments to the bootlid using a block of wood.......... "one more small tweak should do it" were my final words i believe :lol:

What I saw the most last winter? Shovel trucks with their shovels UP, almost constantly.We have so many private snow guys clamoring for work, yet the city won't pay them to do it and say in the same breath - City workers are overworked with the snowfall levels! :shock:

I saw a program, last year I think about under surface heating for the roads, it was designed to heat the road to just above freezing so that the snow and ice doesn’t form and the road surface doesn’t break up during severe frosts.

I actually went to driving classes and got told off by the whole group of other ticketed morons that speeding was dangerous... I was like well at least i was only doing 95mph and got a ticket for exceeding the posted speed limit, so i could take traffic school... no one thought it was funny oh well there loss, just please drive in the slow lane and stay the fuck out of the fast lane
