Apparently, going blond was just one part of the transformation.

Miley Cyrus, who debuted a new, light 'do recently, has decided to bring the scissors back for a much shorter and dramatic haircut.

Yeah, she pretty much chopped it all off.

Liam Hemsworth's fiancée showed off the new look on Twitter tonight, and wrote, "Never felt more me in my whole life."

And apparently, people seem to approve of her edgy hairstyle—well, kinda.

On Sunday, Miley Cyrus went under the chopping block and lopped off her chin-length hair into a spunky pixie cut reminiscent of Ginnifer Goodwin and singer Robyn's cute coifs.

And while the 19-year-old says that her super-short 'do makes her feel more like herself than ever before, not everyone is so keen on her rock-and-roll look. (On Monday, Tyler the Creator tweeted, "Your barber is an asshole," before deleting his tweet later that day.) As if a fresh batch of critics has ever stopped her from sounding off before, the starlet took to her Twitter with some choice words.

"My dad Billy Ray Cyrus used to tell me, 'opinions are are like assholes --everybody has one.' LOVE my hair. Feel so happy, pretty, and free," she wrote late Sunday after she and celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan (who is famous for creating Jennifer Aniston's "Rachel" on Friends 'do in the '90s) documented the entire hair-cutting process.

Said the newly engaged star (whose beau is Hunger Games' Liam Hemsworth) of her statement-making crop: "Feeling so happy in my skin."

And as for anyone who can't keep their opinions to themselves, Cyrus is maintaining just one reaction to her hair haters: "Giving face all day."

As it turns out, Cyrus' most daring 'do yet was a long time in the making. Back in 2008 when she was at the height of her Hannah Montana career, she gave Good Morning America a backstage tour of her dressing room.

"This is Twiggy," she said, pointing to a framed photo of the short-haired 1960s British style icon. "One day I'm going to cut my hair like that. I know I am. I will one day."

Just one day after Jennifer Aniston's longtime hairstylist Chris McMillan gave Cyrus a punky, platinum blonde pixie cut, the 19-year-old singer attempted to hide her face after dining with fiance Liam Hemsworth in Philadelphia August 13.

Cyrus received widespread criticism over her new 'do via Twitter, prompting hip-hop star Tyler, The Creator to write: "Your barber is an a--hole." The "Yonkers" rapper, 21, later deleted his tweet.

Despite the naysayers, Cyrus wasn't phased by their taunts -- at least not initially. "Self love is the greatest of all flatterers," she tweeted August 13. "My dad Billy Ray Cyrus used to tell me, 'opinions are are like a**holes --everybody has one.' LOVE my hair. Feel so happy, pretty, and free."

Prior to her dinner with Hemsworth, 22, the former Hannah Montana star spent time in the City of Brotherly Love with her pal Erin Lucas (best known as Whitney Port's BFF during Season 1 of MTV's The City). Lucas, 27, snapped a photo of them at Dunkin' Donuts and shared it via Twitter. "Is this not the largest iced coffee you've ever seen, Miley?" she wrote.

When Miley Cyrus Tweeted a photo showing off an edgy new pixie haircut on Sunday, many passionate fans responded unhappily, prompting the 19-year-old to defend her new look.

"My dad @billyraycyrus used to tell me 'opinions are like ass holes every body has one,' " Cyrus Tweeted Monday. "LOVE my hair <3 feel so happy, pretty, and free."

She also shared some hard-won wisdom with fans after most of the furor over her haircut subsided.

"Self love is the greatest of all flatterers," she Tweeted Tuesday, along with a photo of herself basking in the glow of her new do and rocking bright rep lips, a nose ring and lots of gold on her arm.

Despite all the static, Cyrus has at least one steady supporter in the form of her fiancé (since June 6), Liam Hemsworth, 22.

"He loves [my haircut]," Cyrus Tweeted to one of her fans Tuesday. "Last night he said I look the happiest he's seen me in a while :) he likes seeing my eyes more."
