FORT WALTON BEACH - An Okaloosa County Sheriff's deputy was sent to a Lloyd Street address after two women fought over clothing.
The incident happened on July 22. The deputy was told the women began arguing over one woman's dress attire. As she tried to leave the other woman punched her several times in the face.
The victim suffered minor swelling after the attack.
The arrest report didn't describe the nature of the woman's attire, or why it would provoke an argument.
The defendant, a 39-year-old woman, was charged with misdemeanor battery. Her court date is Aug. 14.
