JEROME, Pa. (AP) - Police have charged a 53-year-old western Pennsylvania man with promoting prostitution and other crimes for allegedly offering extra money for sexual favors from a 14-year-old boy he had hired to cut his grass.
Online court records don't list an attorney for 53-year-old Carl Fisher, of Conemaugh Township.
Township police charged Fisher on Tuesday after investigating complaints from the boy's parents about the incident on June 30.
Police say the boy was cutting Fisher's grass that day when Fisher asked the boy for sexual favors and said "name your price."
The boy refused and, instead, told his parents who contacted police.
The Associated Press could not locate a listed phone for Fisher who faces a preliminary hearing Aug. 22.
Conemaugh Township is in Somerset County, about 55 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
