Forget Hollywood’s size-zero standards. Christina Aguilera is all about curves.
“The challenge I’ve always had is being too thin, so I love that now I have a booty,” the Voice judge tells Lucky magazine’s October issue. “And, obviously, I love showing my cleavage.”
Though she’s endured endless criticism about her fluctuating figure in recent years, Aguilera is proud of her fuller figure.
And she’s not afraid to show it.
“Hey, if you can work it and you can own it, that confidence is going to shine through,” the pop star says.
And her hourglass figure isn’t Aguilera’s only proud point these days. She returns to the judge’s panel on NBC’s The Voice on Sept. 10, a post she doesn’t take for granted.
“It’s a big responsibility to help someone express themselves as an artist,” Aguilera — who is dating former production assistant Matt Rutler — tells Lucky of fostering new-found talent. “I take it seriously.”
And for the first time since 2010′s Bionic, Aguilera is readying to release a brand-new record.
“If you love Fighter, you’re going to love my new album,” she explains. “As a 30-year-old woman, I’ve been uncovering my independence, and it’s been really fun to explore in the new songs.”
