CORAL SPRINGS—

An employee at Country Hills Elementary School was arrested Saturday night for standing naked on his front porch and exposing himself to a 12-year-old girl, authorities said.

Mark Stephen Lynn, 55, was charged with exhibition in front of a child under 16 and two counts of exposure of sexual organs, Lt. Joe McHugh, of the Coral Springs Police Department, said Sunday.

This is the third time Lynn, who is 6-feet tall and weighs 200 pounds, has been outside of his home completely naked, according to a police report.

Because of uncooperative witnesses, Lynn faced no charges in incidents in 2010 and 2011. The 2011 case also involved Lynn exposing himself to neighborhood juveniles, the report said. No other details were available Sunday afternoon.

Lynn told police he was employed at Country Hills Elementary, but it was unclear what position he holds there, McHugh said.

A Sun Sentinel database of school employees shows that Lynn was hired in October 1996 and works as head facility service person at the elementary school.

Early Sunday afternoon, school district spokeswoman Tracy Clark did not dispute that Lynn is a school district employee but said she could provide no information: "Our offices are closed today, so I can't confirm that he is indeed a Broward schools employee."

Neighbors called police at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday after their 12-year-old daughter saw Lynn standing "completely naked exposing his genitals" on his front porch in the 8900 block of Northwest 38th Drive under the light, police said.

The three victims all positively identified Lynn when police arrived, McHugh said.

The police report details the incident like this:

The family was unloading groceries from their vehicle when their cat ran out of their home. When their daughter ran to retrieve the cat, she spotted Lynn standing completely nude on his front porch. She and Lynn held eye contact for about five seconds and Lynn made no effort to conceal himself.

She told her parents and when they came outside, they saw Lynn walk in and out of his home several times, still naked. When he realized he was being watched, he went inside his apartment but left the front door open.

While they were on the phone with police, Lynn peeked around an inside wall at them and eventually closed his front door.

Because he was standing approximately 10 feet away from his front door, Lynn had "no reasonable expectation of privacy" and made no attempt to conceal his penis or buttocks, the police report said.

After he was read his Miranda rights, Lynn refused to speak to police, the report said.

After posting bond, Lynn was released from the Broward Main Jail at 10 a.m. Sunday. The bond amount was not immediately available.

The exhibition charge is a second-degree felony punishable by a maximum of 15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. The exposure charges are first-degree misdemeanors. Each carries a maximum penalty of up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Freakin' weirdo. Should go to a nude beach or something if he wants to prance around naked outdoors.
