I just sold my 85 CJ7, new owner is picking it up tomorrow evening. I got what I was asking, about half of what I paid and less than a 1/4 of my total investment.. I just wanted out before it blew up and I sure as hell didn't want to suffer for another winter in it. It's been fun but the 10mpg, always cold and wet ride has grown old.

I don't mind the wheels, actually. You'll probably be able to sell them on some Jimmy/Blazer forum no doubt as they aren't the standard wheels.

Or, keep 'em for the snow tires. Either way, nice ride. I was contemplating a Blazer for my tow vehicle when a cheaper-than-cheap minivan entered the picture. Sometimes you just have to sieze opportunities when they land in your lap.

I agree that the rims are horrendous and should be remedied ASAP.

So what should I get? Nothing really interests me. I need something with enough room for my fire/ems gear and my hockey shit. I can't seem to get away from thinking suv.

What's your price range? Judging by the pics, looks like you're wanting a used vehicle for cash.

I know a few people who've just bought Hyundai Santa Fe's and they love them to bits. My mechanic says they're very well put together.

Yeah, Ima cheapskate.. I paid off my BMW and have zero interest in another car payment. 2 or 3k is all I wanna spend.

I'm currently considering a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero, Fla car, no obvious issue.

I ended up buying a GMC Jimmy last week. Haven't had time to do more than get legal plates on it yet.
