I happen to be a metal fan. Been one all of my life. I grew up listening to 80s thrash and death metal. I'm also a guitar player that's been in my fair share of punk/metal bands throughout my earlier days. In my opinion, most of the newer metal bands coming out today or in the past decade is cookie cutter horseshit with a side of suck thrown in. The song you posted would be marginally ok cookie cutter extreme metal at best, but the keyboard/organ is blatantly annoying. It crowds the song. Take it away and you'd find that there's absolutely nothing new there, and there's bands that came long before them that did it a whole lot better than they're doing it.

Yeah, it's death metal. The "new school" of metalheads did something rather stupid. They split extreme metal into subgenres to make themselves feel better. So it's not just death metal and grindcore anymore.
