Everyone, just leave Honey Boo Boo child alone!

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is officially driving the “I hate Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” bandwagon. Well, hate is an understatement. The Voice judge told GQ “Honey Boo Boo is the DECAY of Western civilization.”

After describing the show as an atrocity, the singer proceeds to drop a few f-bombs. “That show is literally The. Worst. Thing. That’s. Ever. Happened. It’s complete fucking ignorance and the most despicable way to treat your kids. Fuck those people. You can put that in the magazine: Fuck those idiots. They’re just the worst. Sorry, I’m so sensitive to that — like, I don’t know, man, it’s upsetting. Just to clarify, I said, “FUCK THOSE PEOPLE.”

Maybe a Honey Boo Boo rendition of “Moves Like Jagger” could change his mind. She certainly won a fan in Christopher Walken by reading his movie lines.

Honey Boo Boo the decay of western civilization? It may be one of many facets of it, but it certainly isn't where the decay started.

They need to get rid of all that bullshit 'reality' programming. If people want reality programming, they can watch one of the 24 hour news cable stations.

I watched a bit on Youtube and IMO those people are the most genuine people on television because they aren't behaving differently in the presence of the cameras. They really are that common and that's how they live.

On the other end of spectrum, check out how much this tv reporter changes his demeanour while reporting until the real personality comes through:

I'll have to hunt down the Southpark Ep about this show. The "bar" has sunk so low that James Cameron goes on a deep ocean quest to find and try and raise it.
